“The Greatest Beer Run Ever”

  • “THE GREATEST BEER RUN EVER”
    BY John “Chick” Donohue
    &
    J.T. Molloy
If there is one book you read this year, next to the Bible, it must be “The
Greatest Beer Run Ever” by J.T. Molloy and the main protagonist John “Chickie”
Donohue. What starts out as a promise made in a Bar to friends, and family
members of some of the /nest “men” of their genera0on serving in the Vietnam
War, turns out to be a dangerous and daring mission. In my opinion only a New
York Neighborhood guy could accomplish this Beer Run.
Here we have John Donohue also known as “Chickie” Donohue a nick name
he was bridled with as a boy from the Inwood Neighborhood in Manha2an he
called home. “Chickie” never taking into considera0on his own health or safety
made a promise to bring a li2le happiness, civility, apprecia0on, and Pabst Blue
Ribbon cheer to his friends that were serving their Country during a very
Poli0cally divided War. Reading “Chickie’s” execu0on of his commitment is both
    inspiring and profound.
John “Chickie” Donohue’s “The Greatest Beer Run Ever” truly shows what it
means to be labeled “A Neighborhood Guy”. “The Greatest Beer Run Ever” is a
    must read.
“The Greatest Beer Run Ever” soon to be a movie will be directed by Peter
Farrelly known for his cri0cally acclaimed direc0on of “The Green Book”.
